
Bill Westergreen
Bill Westergreen has over 30 years of experience in the timber industry which gives him the knowledge to manage the company with a “hands-on” approach. Bill has gained the respect of his peers throughout the industry through his honesty and hard work. His insistence on high standards continues to bring together the best crews in the logging industry. Bill received a Bachelor of Science degree in Forestry from Washington State University in 1975. Upon completion of his college education, Bill entered the logging industry as a hooktender and spent several years with W.C. & Sons. He then became a hooktender with Alpine H & S, Inc. and worked with Alpine for approximately 10 years. After the dissolution of Alpine in 1990, he took over managing the logging operations for A.L.R.T. Bill’s responsibilities are wide ranged and include working with timber companies, logging foremen and consultants; laying out forest roads; and preparing proposals for contract logging and road jobs. Bill is a highly respected member of the timber industry whose education and years of experience have enabled him to expertly manage the logging operations of A.L.R.T.
